A kid’s firsts are always a big deal. While this is not Andre’s first haircut, this is his first semi-kal cut. It’s just been too hot lately, and Andre’s hair had grown quite long that he gets irritated and scratches his ears.
Andre is a suki of Cuts for Tots, but this time we tried Kutie Kuts Kids Salon in Robinson Antipolo.
We got the P300 service. It’s supposed to come with a free parent-kid shampoo, which we didn’t avail of anymore. Pretty steep, considering the friendly neighborhood barber only charges P50. Price is fixed, whether you avail of the free shampoo or not. However, this is about the standard price for specialty kiddie salons.
Later on, the little guy got scared of the electric razor, so we ditched the car chair and I carried and hugged him through the process.
I think they’ve got a happy customer! Kuya barber said hair would grow back in about 2 weeks. BTW, we always hear about how “pagpapakalbo” can make a baby’s hair thicker. Myth or fact? What do you think?
